The Font Kit includes downloadable fonts that can be used to print accurate barcodes on
any PCL-5 compatible laser printer. You can select a printer that provides the speed and
features you need without restricting your brand or model choices.
Cost Effective
These bit-mapped fonts are economical, costing less than half of a comparable add-in
hardware module for a single printer. The PCL Barcode Font Kits are available with
licenses for single printers.
Operating System Independent
Font files can be stored on any host system, independent of the OS, and downloaded to the
printer as needed. Depending on the capabilities of the printer, the fonts can be
stored permanently in the printer's flash memory or hard disk. These fonts are ideal
for use with production applications running on Unix, Linux, Unisys, and other enterprise
operating systems.
